How are the player positions determined?
How are the player salaries (or values) determined?
If I start a player as a swing player at the beginning of the season, can he play his regular position during the season?
Can I use a player at the center position if he is listed as a forward?
Q: How are the player positions determined?
A: A player's position has been determined by Fanball based on his play last year and will remain the same for the entire season. A player in the starting lineup accumulates points for your team even if he plays a different position. For example, if one of your guards plays as a forward, your team still gets his stats for that game.

Q: If I start a player as a swing player at the beginning of the season, can he play his regular position during the season?
A: Yes, a swing player can play either his assigned position or the swing position and this can vary back and forth throughout the season. A shift transaction is used in some games to move a swing player to his assigned position in the starting line-up.

Q: Can I use a player at the center position if he is listed as a forward?
A: Listed players must be used at the positions at which they are listed. A player listed as a forward must be used in the forward position or swing position on your roster. If the player actually plays in the game as a center, you will still get his stats.
