Q: How do I access my fantasy team to enter my players and make roster changes (or trades)?
A: Go to WWW.FANBALL.COM and login with your Username and password. Click on MY TEAMS AND LEAGUES. Click the MODIFY button next to the team for which you want to enter your players or make player changes (or trades). Once you have completed your roster or changes, record your confirmation number and keep it for your records.

Q: Can I select a player for my team that is not listed in the rules?
A: It depends on the fantasy game you are playing. In some fantasy games, unlisted players may have to be placed on the taxi squad or bench until a position is assigned. Once a position is assigned (usually during the first week of regular season play), the unlisted player then may be switched to or purchased for the starting line-up. In our free-to-enter and checkbox-style fantasy games, unlisted players may not be used. Please check the RULES section of the game’s website for more information regarding unlisted players, or call 1-800-568-6288 or email sportsdesk@fanball.com for additional help.

Q: How do I find ID numbers and salaries (or values) of unlisted players?
A: ID numbers for unlisted players and salaries (or values) are listed in the RULES section of each game's website. Unlisted players are indicated with an asterisk. To request that a player be added, please call 1-800-568-6288 or email sportsdesk@fanball.com.

Q: What is the taxi squad (or bench)?
A: The taxi squad (or bench) consists of players which may be used throughout the season to replace players on the starting lineup. They are your backups and may be switched into your starting team for any reason: injury, performance, match-ups, etc. The salary (or value) cap and position distribution rules do not apply to this squad. When a taxi squad (or bench) player is moved onto the starting lineup, the player that he is replacing then is moved to the taxi squad (or bench). This is called a player switch. Once player switches have been made, the salaries (or values) of the players on the updated starting line-up must not exceed the salary (or value) cap. Please note that our free-to-enter and checkbox-style games do not use a taxi squad (or bench).

Q: How are the player salaries (or values) determined?
A: Player salaries (or values) are determined using a 3-year averaged player performance with some manual adjustments.

Q: Do the player's salaries (or values) change?
A: Player salaries (or values) typically do not change during the contest, with the exception of some auto racing fantasy games.

Q: How are player positions/eligibility determined?
A: A listed player's position is determined by Fanball based on his play last year and will remain the same for the entire season. You must use a player in the position for which he is listed. A player on the starting team accumulates stats for your team even if he plays a different position. For example, if a player listed at tight end plays as a wide receiver, your team still gets his stats for that game although you must use him at the tight end position. If a listed third basemen plays in the outfield, your team will get his stats although you must use him at third base.

Q: Why is a player listed at one position even though he is actually playing a different position?
A: A listed player's position has been determined by Fanball based on his play last year. Player ID numbers and rules are established and published weeks or months before the season begins. The player may have changed teams or changed roles since his ID and position were determined.

Q: When will a player's position change?
A: A player's position can only be changed if he was not listed in the original rules, and thus he is an unlisted player. A listed player's position will not change during the contest. An unlisted player's position may change during the first week of play.

Q: Will I get to see other team rosters
A: Yes, team owners will be able to view player rosters of other teams via Internet reports. For games that offer mailed or faxed reports, the rosters of the teams in your league will be mailed.

Q: Are there trades with other teams?
A: No, there are no player trades between teams.

Q: Can I purchase (or pick-up) a player that I have dropped?
A: In most games, you may purchase (or pick-up) a player you have already dropped. However, it will count as one of your limited purchases (or pick-ups).

Q: When are my player changes effective?
A: This varies from game to game. Your confirmation page will give the effective date. Please check the rules on the specific game website, or call 1-800-568-6288 or email sportsdesk@fanball.com for additional help.

Q: If I miss the deadline, can I make late changes?
A: Generally, the rules do not allow for changes to be accepted once the deadline has passed. However, there are exceptions in the rules for certain games (football, for example) that allow late changes for a higher transaction fee. However once the final deadline has passed, late player changes are no longer accepted.

Q: Do you have injury information?
A: We do not provide injury information over the phone; however we do provide links to injury reports on the websites under Research.
